Hello,

Brand new day, brand new week. Or is it?

Some Mondays look just like the last one. Same alarm, same coffee, same rush.

The other day I was doom scrolling (You know how it goes down) and stumbled on a video about the Butterfly Effect. It stayed with me.

Back in the 1960s, a scientist named Edward Lorenz was running a weather model. He changed one tiny number, barely anything at all. And the whole forecast changed. A different sky, from almost nothing!!

That's the idea. A butterfly flaps its wings in one corner of the world, and somewhere far away, the weather turns.

Here's what I want you to hear. Imagine you are that butterfly.

Every small thing you do is quietly shaping something bigger. The pause before you react - which is always impossible for some reason. The deep breath in and out when the day gets loud. That "I Love You" you almost didn't say but wanted to.

Our bestie brain remembers each one, and slowly, it learns to choose them again. You are either breaking the pattern or strengthening it. There's no in between here.

None of it feels big in the moment. It never does. But in reality, moments are all we ever have in front of us. That's what being present means. Not chasing the big change, just showing up for the small one, right here, right now.

And your small things don't stay with you. They travel. A smile becomes someone's better morning. A patient answer becomes someone's calmer evening. You may never see where it lands. But Yes, it lands!

This week's nudge

Choose one person today and give them a little more of you. Listen to them without checking your phone. Ask how they're really doing. I mean it, ask again when they say "I'm good" or "I'm fine." The second time is when they really open up.

Genuinely mean that "Thank you" when you say it out loud.

Go take your first step to create the butterfly effect in someone else's life 🦋

With Love & Care,

Narman
